Holden Bonnet Lock Plunger + Spring HK HT HG HQ HJ HX HZ LC LJ LH LX latch catch

You are looking at a Holden Bonnet (Hood) Lock Plunger And Spring to suit;

• HK HT HG
• HQ HJ HX HZ
• Torana LC LJ LH LX

Fitting Tip:
Screw the bonnet nut on the thread of the plunger (Lock not supplied with these parts) place the retainer on the plunger with the flat side down then the spring over the plunger then screw the plunger into the bonnet, screw in or out for adjustment until the bonnet closes level with the guard, then tighten the lock nut to the bonnet.
The safety catch spring and rivet, first place one end of the spring in the hole in the safety catch, place the catch onto the bonnet making sure that the other end of the spring has tension against the bonnet, push the rivet through the bonnet brackets and safety catch, support the rivet and peen/ flare the rivet against the washer

Hint: Removing the bonnet plunger and spring first makes peening/ flaring the rivet easier.
