This is 6cyl Elbow comes complete with a new grommet and will suit your:

• Holden HQ, HJ, HX, HZ, WB.
• Torana LH, LX, UC
• Commodore VB, VC, VH, VK

The Positive Crankcase Ventilation valve system is one of the oldest emission control devices, and also one of the most beneficial. The PCV valve is an emissions control device that routes unburned crankcase blow-by gases back into the intake manifold where they can be reburnt.

This eliminates crankcase emissions as a source of air pollution, plus the constant recirculation of air through the crankcase helps remove moisture which causes sludge to form. A carboned up or leaking PCV Valve can also cause oil burning and poor running by allowing the wrong airflow for the throttle setting.

A properly operating PCV valve will extend the life of the oil and engine. The valve and filter should be replaced somewhere around 30,000 to 50,000 miles (see the vehicle owners manual for service intervals).
